Why am I asked for a phone number to sign up?

Two-step verification helps to ensure that your sensitive information is super-protected, even if other sites you use are hacked or breached.

Two-step verification is optional, but we strongly encourage all of our users to enable it for the added assurance that no one but you can access your Everplan (except your Deputies, of course).
