How can I control what my Deputies can access?

You may not want certain Deputies to have access to certain information - and they don’t have to.

From the My Deputies page (via Deputies drop down):
  • You can easily view and set permissions for each item in your Everplan (just check or uncheck to add or remove access to items)
  • You can choose exactly which Deputies you do (and do not) want to have access to that part of your plan
  • You can update these permissions at any time, and each time you make a change to an item in your Everplan, we’ll remind you which Deputies have access to it

In addition, we’ll notify you via email each time a Deputy looks at any item in your Everplan so you can modify your permissions if you’re concerned about the way they're treating your information.

In the future, we plan to introduce functionality that will make it possible to designate certain items as only accessible after your death. Stay tuned for details on how this feature will work.
